Denver Airport to Keystone

The route runs west on I-70 through the Eisenhower Tunnel, then onto Highway 6 at Silverthorne and along Dillon Reservoir into Keystone — about 95 miles and an hour and three quarters when the road is clear. It is one of the shortest airport-to-resort runs in Colorado, which is exactly why Keystone works so well for short trips.

Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal at baggage claim, handles the luggage and ski bags, and drives straight to your door — whether that is a hotel, a condo or a private rental.

Private Transfer vs Shared Shuttle

Shared shuttles from DIA to Keystone run on fixed schedules and typically stop at Silverthorne, Dillon and sometimes Breckenridge before they reach you — 30 to 60 minutes of other people's luggage. A private vehicle goes airport to door.

For families the difference is sharper still: all the equipment fits in one SUV, child seats are installed before you land at no extra charge, and nobody is wrestling bags onto a crowded bus with tired children in tow.

Skiing and snowboarding across three peaks, night skiing on the largest lit terrain in Colorado, ice skating on the lake, tubing, sleigh rides and scenic gondola trips. We run all season, on winter tires from November through April.

Summer

Golf at the Keystone Ranch and River Course, downhill mountain biking off the gondola, hiking, spa treatments and lakeside afternoons. Quieter roads, same door-to-door service.

Keystone Car Service — FAQ

How far is Keystone from Denver Airport?

About 95 miles — roughly 1 hour 45 minutes via I-70 West and Highway 6. It is one of the closest major Colorado resorts to Denver, though weekend traffic can add an hour.

Do you drive into River Run Village?

Yes — River Run, Lakeside Village, Mountain House and any vacation rental in the area. We stop at your building, not at a central drop-off point.

How is this different from a shared shuttle?

Shared services run to a fixed timetable and stop at Silverthorne, Dillon and sometimes Breckenridge on the way, adding 30 to 60 minutes. Your private vehicle leaves when you land and goes straight to Keystone.

Can you take us to Arapahoe Basin or Breckenridge during our stay?

Yes. A-Basin is about ten minutes away, Copper Mountain fifteen and Breckenridge twenty. We can arrange rides for each day of a multi-resort trip.

Do you provide child seats?

At no extra charge, installed before you arrive. Tell us the ages and number of seats when booking.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight in real time and adjust the pickup automatically — no charge for normal delays. If a flight is cancelled, call (970) 261-6509 and we will reschedule.
