The drive from Eagle Airport to Vail takes roughly 30–35 minutes on I-70 East — a straight run down the valley with no mountain passes to cross. Compare that to Denver International, which is two to two and a half hours away over the Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass. If your schedule allows a flight into EGE, you save the better part of an afternoon.
During ski season, American, Delta, United and JetBlue run direct flights into Eagle from major hubs. The terminal is small and easy — your driver meets you at baggage claim with a name sign, handles the luggage and ski bags, and you are on the road within minutes of landing.
Beaver Creek is even closer than Vail — about 20–25 minutes via I-70 East and the Avon exit. We drive directly to your lodge, residence or hotel, and handle gate pre-authorization for Bachelor Gulch and other gated communities, so nobody is waiting at a checkpoint with luggage in the cold.
The same short run covers Avon, Arrowhead and the Westin Riverfront, plus Cordillera in Edwards — all within about 20 minutes of the terminal.
Flying into Eagle and heading to Aspen? At roughly 70 miles and 1.5 hours through Glenwood Canyon and Highway 82, this is the fastest ground route to Aspen from any commercial airport in Colorado — and a reliable alternative when Aspen’s own airport closes in weather. We run it daily, to downtown Aspen, Snowmass Village and everywhere in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Eagle Airport has a limited rental fleet, and winter mountain driving means chain laws, ice and steep grades. For a short ski trip the numbers often favour a private transfer once you add up what a rental actually costs.
Heading home, we pick you up at your hotel or residence and deliver you to EGE with comfortable margin. From Vail, plan to leave about 1.5 hours before departure; from Aspen, around 3 hours. Our dispatch watches weather and road conditions the night before and adjusts your pickup time if the valley slows down.
Choose your vehicle — Cadillac Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon XL Denali or a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for groups of 7–14 — on our fleet page.
Flying into Denver instead? DIA has far more flights and better fares, and we cover that route too — about two hours to Vail. See Denver Airport (DIA) car service.
About 30–35 minutes on I-70 East, roughly 35 miles. It is the shortest airport-to-resort transfer in the Colorado mountains — Denver Airport is 2 to 2.5 hours away by comparison.
Inside the terminal at baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. EGE is compact, so there is no hunting for shuttle counters — we take the bags and ski gear straight to the vehicle.
We track your flight in real time and adjust the pickup automatically, at no extra charge. Eagle is weather-sensitive in winter; if your flight diverts to Denver, call (970) 261-6509 and we will meet you at DIA instead.
About 25 miles, roughly 20–25 minutes via I-70 East and the Avon exit. We drive into the village and handle gate access for Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch.
Yes — about 70 miles and 1.5 hours via Glenwood Canyon and Highway 82. It is the fastest ground route to Aspen from any Colorado commercial airport, and a dependable backup when Aspen’s airport closes in weather. Details on our Eagle Airport to Aspen page.
