Child seats & family policy: how we transport kids—safely and comfortably
Who this page is for
Families landing at DIA or EGE and heading into Vail Valley with infants, toddlers, or big kids—plus skis, strollers, and winter bags. If you want non-stop, door-to-door service with the right child seats ready, here’s exactly how we handle booking, installation, seating, and day-of timing.
The winter problem for families
Snow, tight curbs at hotel valets, and tired kids don’t mix well with shared shuttles. Add car seats and strollers, and every extra stop multiplies the hassle. You need a vehicle staged at your door, seats pre-installed, and a driver who helps with bags so you can roll out in minutes.
The solution: private AWD, pre-installed seats, zero detours
We run AWD SUVs (Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2023 GMC Yukon XL Denali) and Mercedes-Benz Sprinters (two configurations) on winter tires. Wi-Fi and bottled water are standard; child seats are available on request. Your driver meets at arrivals (DIA/EGE) or the lobby, loads strollers/skis, and departs non-stop to your exact address—no loops, no shared pickups.

Seating placement in the cabin (what to expect)
SUVs (Escalade/Yukon): we prioritize the 2nd row for child seats; boosters may use the 2nd or 3rd row depending on belt geometry.
Sprinter: child seats are installed only on seats with three-point belts; we’ll stage rows to keep siblings together when possible.
Strollers & diaper bags ride within reach; skis/boards ride inside the vehicle, secured.
Common family scenarios
Infant + toddler + gear: 2nd-row infant and forward-facing seats; stroller + ski bag inside; direct to Vail Village valet.
School-age siblings + grandparents: Sprinter with boosters in one row; bags in the rear; staggered pickups for spa/dinner.
Late arrival: pre-warmed vehicle at DIA/EGE; quiet cabin, no shuttle transfers.
Formats & timing
Point-to-point: fastest for airport ↔ lodging.
Hourly/as-directed: best for multi-stop evenings, rentals, or grocery runs.
Winter windows: for DIA arrivals we often target 10:00–14:00 or after 19:00 to miss peak waves on I-70; we’ll confirm a safe, conservative pickup time on the day.
Pricing & how to book
