DIA → Keystone: family transfers with child seats—made simple
Who this page is for
Families flying into Denver International Airport (DIA) and heading to Keystone with kids, ski gear, and winter luggage. If you want a non-stop, door-to-door ride with child seats ready, here’s how the trip works: routing, timing, what’s included, and a sample family-friendly schedule.
The winter problem on I-70
From DIA to Keystone you’ll cross the Eisenhower/Johnson Tunnel on I-70 West, where winter often means traction rules, plows, and slowdowns—especially on weekends and holidays. Add car seats, strollers, ski bags, and tired travelers, and a shared shuttle with multiple stops turns into a long evening.

The solution: private AWD, set up for families
A private AWD transfer is direct from DIA to your lodging in Keystone. We pre-install child seats (on request), meet you at arrivals, handle skis/boards and strollers, and depart as soon as you’re ready—no loops, no transfers.
Fleet: Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2023 GMC Yukon XL Denali, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (two configurations). Onboard: Wi-Fi, bottled water; child seats by request.
Route & typical timing
Route: DIA → I-70 West → Exit 205 (Silverthorne/Dillon) → US-6 to Keystone.
Time: ~1.5–2.5 hours in normal winter conditions. In active snowfall or peak traffic, plan extra buffer.
We’ll confirm a conservative pickup window based on conditions on the day.
Child seats: how we handle them
Reserve at booking. Tell us the number of seats and child ages/weights so we match the right seats.
Pre-installation. Seats are installed and checked before pickup; we can re-position on arrival if needed.
Bring your own? We’ll install it curbside and store the travel bag in the cargo area.
Luggage, skis & sleds
Skis/boards ride inside the vehicle; we load and secure them.
Strollers/sleds/boot bags: please share counts at booking so we stage an SUV or Sprinter with the right space.
Grocery stop (optional): add a short stop in Silverthorne before US-6 to Keystone; available on hourly or by request.
