Cordillera: private car for golf days and family visits—done right

Who this is for

Guests staying in Vail Valley with plans in Cordillera—early tee-times, clubhouse lunches, afternoon pool or family visits—who want non-stop, door-to-door transfers with punctual staging and help with luggage, strollers, and ski/golf gear.

The problem

Mountain timing is tight: early tee-times, summer afternoon showers, and winter traction rules on I-70. Clubhouse curbs get busy, and parking can eat up the buffer you meant for the range. Traveling with kids adds car seats and strollers; ride-hail and shared shuttles add uncertainty.

The solution: private AWD, staged at your door and the clubhouse

We run AWD SUVs and Sprinters on winter tires and align pickup windows to your tee-sheet and family schedule. It’s private, non-shared, with Wi-Fi, bottled water, and child seats on request. Your driver stages at your driveway/porte-cochère, assists with bags/clubs/strollers, and waits & returns when you’re ready.

Fleet: Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2023 GMC Yukon XL Denali, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (two configurations).

Routes & typical timing

  • DIA (Denver) → Cordillera: usually ~2–3 hours, conditions permitting.

  • EGE (Eagle) → Cordillera: usually ~30–45 minutes.

  • Vail/Beaver Creek ↔ Cordillera (local): typically ~20–35 minutes, depending on village traffic and valet lines.
We’ll confirm a conservative pickup window for storm days or peak weekends.

Where we stage & drop

  • Clubhouse/porte-cochère: closest legal guest curb or valet lane for quick unload.

  • Residences in Cordillera: driveway or guest curb as allowed by community rules.
Pedestrian-only segments are finished on foot; we carry clubs and bags to the door or bag drop.

Golf-day plan (example timeline)

  • 06:40 Pickup at residence; coffee + kid gear loaded, seats pre-installed

  • 07:05 Drop at bag drop/clubhouse; driver stands by for a quick locker run

  • 11:45 Post-round pickup → lunch at the club or in Edwards

  • 13:15 Return to residence for naps / pool time

  • 18:15 Dinner transfer (hourly) with wait & return, no curb hunting

Family logistics (made easy)

  • Child seats: rear-facing, forward-facing, boosters—reserve at booking with ages/weights.

  • Strollers & totes: we load and secure; tell us counts so we match SUV vs. Sprinter.

  • Groceries/errands: add a short Edwards stop on hourly service.

Seasonality & smart windows

  • Golf season: prioritize morning tee-times for smoother winds and lighter traffic; set pickup to arrive 10–15 minutes before your warm-up.

  • Summer afternoons: allow buffer for pop-up showers and wet roads.

  • Winter: AWD + winter tires as standard; we’ll shift departure to the calm side of a storm.

Service formats

  • Point-to-point: residence ↔ clubhouse / DIA ↔ Cordillera / EGE ↔ Cordillera.

  • Hourly / as-directed: best for multi-stop plans (school drop, lunch, errands, dinner) and wait & return evenings.

Pricing & how to book

Quotes are provided in advance by route, date, and vehicle. For overall planning across routes, typical one-way totals run ~$250–$1400, and a 10% gratuity is included in the quote.
